Coming up to 10K miles and one year on my C2.

The car is my daily driver and other than a flat tire the car has performed flawlessly.

I did not buy the service contract. In thirty years of buying cars I have never purchased a service contract. For other vehicles including my Lexus and Infinity I use a small independent shop with no issues.

The 10k service cost varies from dealer to dealer from +$500 to $250 in the Baltimore/Washington area.

Any opinions on using dealers versus an independent Porsche specialist for scheduled maintenance?
