Need some local advice. I'm on east coast looking at a west coast

I have been looking high and low for a less than perfect 912 that my son and I could wrench on and restore. I'm a decent wrench, but extensive body work is way outta my league and seems VERY expensive. So, I was checking out Beverly Hills Car Club. They have a few candidates, but I don't know anything about them. Anyone ever worked with them?

Anyone know of a local shop in their area that could do a PPI? They are located just west of Cal State LA, off the 10

Anything in particular I should be looking for?

Thank you!

I have visited their premises and it most definitely did not make me think of Beverly Hills. The cars have been well photographed...

I went to buy a 1969 911S for only $45k - it looked moderately good as a restoration candidate in the pics, just needed back-dating to a longhood from a mis-guided 'updating' at some point. In the flesh, it was a complete basket case and I didn't buy it. I looked at all of the many Porsches in stock and all were very rough, so I bought elsewhere.

You may find a cheap one, but you will certainly need access to some bodywork skills.
