Messed up steering wheel buttons

Recommended Posts

I have a 2006 Cayenne S with built in phone/Nav. Havana interior. Tiptronic. Is it possible to buy just the buttons on the steering wheel? I need the ones that include the phone buttons. I have seen eBay sellers selling just the buttons, it comes in a "V" and includes the Tiptronic buttons...but no airbag...but unfortunately none have come up in the proper color and button combination. I'd hate to have to buy the airbag. Can someone point me in the right direction with a part number?

PS...Previous owner must have been some sort of trophy bride with a huge rock on her ring finger......mostly chewed up on the left side.

I think the problem is due to a cleaning product screwing up the button paint. You have to replace the airbag - to get new buttons - nearly 1k from porsche - I've seen a few on ebay between 3 and 500.

I have the same problem with mine - probably going to get some touch up paint for now. Lots of other sounds that need a priest and 500 to extract that are ahead of the crappy buttons on the annoyance scale.
