I believe it my be the a/c control unit. Since I have two 2004 s I was thinking I could switch the control units but do no know how to remove them .I removed the bezel , but have no clue HELP!

Applied 12V to the blower and it work just fine. Measured the voltage at the connector to the blower and get 14.4 volts with the fan speed up all the way and 13.4 with the speed switch all the way off. Reconnected connector to the blower , NOTHING . I have trouble with German logic. Somebody please help !

It seems that the problem is the gateway , I replaced the battery, the gateway has a relearning process it goes through after a battery change. Out of the blue the blower now works just fine. This car is a mystery to a 75 year old mind.
