Fuse location for Frunk acuator/solenoid?

Recommended Posts

Sat in line in 39c/100f degree heat in Abu Dhabi with the A/C running for an hour and a half while waiting for a registration inspection for my 2004 C4S. Removed all from the "frunk" just prior to departing for the inspection to make it easier and the electric driver door opener switch worked perfectly as always.

Sure enough, everything passed perfectly but the "frunk" would not open. Not the normal click sound or any other near the latch itself when I use the switch. Battery is fine and engine lid works fine.

I know this is an OLD topic, have read the remedies and emergency cable location but what I can not find anywhere in the forum or Bentley Service manual is whether there may be one fuse for this. I am hoping that a simple fuse replacement may do the trick . . . . sometimes it is easy and I am hoping this time easy may be the case. . . .

thanks for any insight as always,

rwrsmart
