Can I ask someone to do me a favour.

On a PCM3 with the single disc rather than 6 disc capacity. What happens if you press the 'Disc' button along the bottom row of buttons when there is no disc instead into the unit?

Does it still switch onto the disc screen or does pressing the 'Disc' button do nothing when no disc is inserted?

I have the multimedia interface kit (no CD Changer), and when I press Disc it shows DISK - AUX - IPOD in the bottom bar of the screen, and I can select the input with the right hand rotary knob.  If Disc is selected, the line on the screen changes to something like "no disk inserted" in blue text.  If you don't have the MMI kit, I expect it just comes up with the blue message.
