passenger door wont open

My passenger door wont open either from the inside nor the outside. However when I lift the door handle the window does come down a inch or so. HELP :(

Have a look at TSB 6/98 5737 Inner Door Release Inoperative (dated 12-17-98). Sure sounds like your bowden cable is either broken or disconnected.
