Recommended Posts

Hi,

i have a 1982 3.0 SC that needs a full oil change. No idea what was in it before as I have just taken ownership.

The world of oil is very complicated and I know there is no right answer.

I have  the chance to get a good deal on this oil - https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/engine-oils-and-car-fluids/engineoils/20w50-engine-oil/

has as anyone used this ?

any feedback on whether this would be suitable ?

I haven't been to the forum for awhile now, but glad to see the possible restart of the old "oil wars."

10-40 might be a better consideration in colder weather, but 20-50 probably ok.  I recall using Castrol in my SC.

Are you heading to Islay for the festival?

Cheers, jl
