PDLS static cornering lights not functioning

Recommended Posts

Hello people, hope you are all in fine health. I'm a newby to Porsche ownership after many years of promising myself that I'd take the plunge.

I've got myself a Diesel S and I'm super happy with it, I really should have made the move several years ago, but hey-ho, it was worth the wait.

I'm generally pretty comfortable working on my own cars, but I'm drawing a blank at getting the static cornering lights activate on this one, and I can't find any particular detail or guidance on diagnosis.

Can anyone on here maybe give me a steer? Any help, very gratefully received.

I think this is pretty basic stuff so re-programming the control unit for the headlights would be my first choice. Here is the basic wiring diagram and as you can see it is highly unlikely that both would fail at the same time.

Many thanks for your help Loren. Am I right in thinking that by "Re-programming" you mean it will need to be a Porsche main dealer? Or is this something I can achieve with the icarsoft POR scanner I have? 😃

I bought the car in February, after an OPC had fitted a new transfer box at 44k miles. I found out the build spec a few weeks ago and didn't know that the system was fitted until then. So now, even though I wasn't missing what I didn't know I had, I want it working. 😁
