New Set of Tyres

Recommended Posts

:lightbulb:

I have a Boxster 986 (MY 2001) and sometime during fall I would like to change my tyres as they may be wearing out. Currently the car wears ContiSportContact 205/50 ZR 17 front and 255/40 ZR 17 back. The rate is N1.

What would you suggest as the best trye for the car?

Note that I am driving it in Athens Greece, which means lots of sun but also some rain and sheldom any snow. Temparatures in winter can drop to 0-5 degrees Celcius (that's in the low range of thrities for Farenheit) and they can go up to 32-38 degrees Celcius in the Summer (100+ in Farenheit). I am using the car as my main vehicle and only on streets (not involved in racing or any other competitive activity). However, I do like to push it both in straights and in corners (high acceleration and braking).

Any help?

THX
