Central Locking/Alarm problems

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I've read what threads I can find and can't see anything identical to my issue.

I am trying to solve an issue where my central locking does not work, ages ago my key fob stopped working and I read I'd need a program so I just started unlocking the car using the key, now however I have developed a double beep issue, I lock the drivers door and my passenger door and filler cap both stay unlocked, if I try the emergency 3 turns it does a single beep and still only the drivers door is locked. I have had the window drop issue which I fixed only for it to recently have come back again. The button on the dashboard also does nothing nomatter what state the car is in. Does the drivers door lock have a switch to send signal to lock everything else?

any help is greatly appreciated,

thanks

You need a Porsche specific scanner to read the fault codes (like Durametric or Porsche PIWIS).

A double beep means that you have more than one zone with a fault ot the alarm control box has failed.

Get the car scanned for fault codes.
