Tips for shopping online for a used engine?

Recommended Posts

Went on track on Saturday and forgot to put the coolant lid back on after topping up banghead.gifbanghead.gif
I now have massive coolant leaks and water in the exhaust pipe. I'm thinking of dropping in a new used engine and hopefully save some of the season.

I'm in Norway and have not found any used engines for sale in the country. I'm looking for something outside the country. This means I will have to buy an unseen engine.

Do you have any tips for reputable places to look for an engine in Europe?

Any tips on what to avoid, look for to avoid buying an anchor?
