Atlanta Body Shop Recommendation

Recommended Posts

Has anyone had any body repair or paint work done in or around Atlanta? I've got several parking lot dings and one small dent that need repair on my 1999 996, Arctic Silver, and I want to make sure it comes out just right. Any recommendations?

I'm not in Atlanta, but if you have a reputable "Dent Doctor" franchise or equivalent, use them for the dings...no paint and its an outstanding result. Its hard to look while they do it, but if they can get to the ding from the inside, they push the offending dent out and its as good as new.

For major body work don't use Buckhead Collision by Lenox and Piedmont - I had to have to car moved to another shop and completed elsewhere. Poor work, poor responsibility, and poor human interactions despite multiple second chances.

My suggestion would be to call Performance Imports on Peachtree Industrial and ask who they would recommend. There are many beautiful cars going through there.

If it's just some minor stuff, then there is a paintless dent removal place on Peachtree Industrial just south of the Jim Ellis Porsche dealer. You can call someone in the body shop at Jim Ellis and they probably use them too (albeit mobile service).

Good Luck!

  • 2 weeks later...

They were a little slow. 2.5 weeks for some front end damage. Besides that they did an excellent job. Everything was perfect and I got my car backl spic and span.

They also give you a 5 year warranty on the job and paint. I was very pleased. Let me know if you have any questions.
