GT2 Individual Weight per Wheel

Recommended Posts

I am starting to play around with suspension settings on 996 GT2 - Club Sport. I have been trying to obtain the individual vehicle weight per tire with driver on board and full of fuel of car in order to obtain “ideal” balance at standard height.

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE EXACT VALUE (WEIGHT) THAT EACH WHEEL SHOULD BE CARRYING?

I have the standard height:

Front: Between 118-123 mm

Rear: Between 133-138 mm

The only data I have for the weight is that there should not be more than 15 kg difference between left or right.

Thanks,

LERA

There is no exact value if what you are doing is corner balancing the car. The corner balance will depend on the weight of the driver with safety equipment, etc. Also, traditionally, when you corner balance a car it is done with a half a tank of fuel. Do a web search on "corner balancing" and you will find the info that you need to do it correctly. Also depending on how much you change the ride height, the alignment will be effected to some degree.
