How Many Keys At Delivery?

Recommended Posts

Good idea. Here's a related question:

if there IS a valet key option, does it unlock the glovebox?

There are times when I'd like to lock away a few items and have them not accessible to the valet, as is the case with almost every other car.

Well, I would think so, too, - but:

a) one would also expect such a key to be included as standard equipment in a $100k vehicle; and

B) there are enough other "unusual" features on these trucks that a "flat" key (as I've seen some folks refer to their pre-2005 third keys) that opens everything, but just doesn't have a remote fob, would seem like a very realistic possibility.

I took delivery of my Cayenne S on September last year... only 2 master keys... I just called Porsche today and they said it is the dealer's option to decide whether to give out valet key... I think his claim is lame....
