Would like to ask your advice please . Bought some days ago a "winter" car - which i better did not. Many issues which i did not realize.

Anyway, i was working under the passenger side dash board. Wet floor issue and broken blower motor resistor. When i was down there i accidently pushed the button
on the side of the seat and the seatback / backrest moved down. i havent even noticed .
Now its not reacting anymore. Only possible to adjust the entire seat forward / backwards - up and down but the seatback is not moving at all.

Did i broke the motor ? anything else i could do wrong? i need to inspect the mechanism under the seat. but how to take the seat out in this position ? the seatback is so low that i cant grab under.

Thank you very much.

Thank you for answering Loren. Yes the seat is moving.  forward , backwards, up and down. just the seatback is down like on the picture and not moving at all.

It hit the seat behind

PM me your VIN and I will get the correct seat diagram for your car.

Hi Loren. I have to apologize. it was really the fuse . Believe me, I have checked twice before i came here to ask for help. but now i went to my garage again looking for codes.

There was no communication with the seat on the right side. no power.

I have changed all fuses related to the seat. Et voila. It works.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR ATTENTION !!!
