Are/were the silver rings ever available to buy? I never found them available for sale. This is a Porsche stock photo in the Porsche Shop entry for the leather key ring in the photo, so I suppose this is 100% stock, and they would be available either as a factory option for the cluster or separately?

 

Can't find any associated P/N anywhere though.

They may no longer be available due to the part's age, which is not uncommon.  You might check with a dealer to see if any still are on the shelf somewhere in the system.

Do you know whether these were sold as add on parts or only sold as a cluster? Any P/Ns?

Back in the day, I remember them being optional parts.  There are currently multiple used sets on eBay, and there were some aftermarket suppliers as well, such as an outfit called Dido Tuning :

Used sets I haven't found, the Dido ones I know well, since I actually have one set but don't really like them. What I would really like are the ones in the photo I posted.
