Taking a chance this question will be answered.  Hopefully, it will given I didn’t get a full year from my membership lol.

2001 996 C4, passenger window is having issues.  Window drops waaaay down automatically when rolled up.  See photo.  If window is in the up position when the door is open, it does not drop slightly to close the door and the glass contacts the cabriolet top when closing the door.

Then, once the door is closed, the window automatically opens six inches on the up cycle inexplicably.

When rolling down, the window squeaks and the rubber seal collapses into the sill and pops back out when the opening cycle is complete.  Please see attached videos.

Not sure if there is something wrong with the track, a sensor, both?  Thanks is advance.

Without a PIWIS diagnostic - it will be difficult to tell whether it is a microswitch issue or a bad windows regulator (cable).

Either way the door panel will need to come off for repair.
