Need PCM I Wiring diagram

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I wanna add to my 2000 Carrera the PCM I system. I have the opportunity to buy a used complete PCM kit, but the wiring harness from the PCM unit to the navigation computer (16 Bit) isn't in the package.

Unfortunately the Porsche center won't sell this wiring harness, but only the complete interior wiring harness which is very expensive

Could anyone of you please post the wiring diagram for the PCM system (RoW) of the year 2000? So I can made the wiring by myself.

Very thanx and nice greetings

Every wiring harness for cars that Porsche makes is custom. The harness is built to order. The PCM1 wiring diagram will only show the connections between the PCM1 components and a few external connections - but no hints on how to get the wires to those (external) points.

A couple folks have done this and said it was a lot of trouble - most wish they had gone aftermarket. Perhaps one of our members can elaborate on the difficulty of a PCM1 retrofit...

Give me an email address or PM me and I can send you a word doc with the diagram. It is small but if you view it at 500% it is legible.
