Front lip spoiler on TT

CO996C4

Recommended Posts

Okay any of you aerodynamics experts. I have a scarred up stock lip spoiler on my TT and was going to replace it. Thought about just getting the factory Aero lip from Carnewal but was not sure if it would significantly upset the car's balance if I kept the stock rear spoiler setup. I am also going to be changing the suspension when I add on lip to the X73 which will lower it about 30mm from US spec height.

Thanks Jim

My car is lowered and I went with a lip from the C4S. It has a lower profile and it doesn't have the extra forward turned lip that the turbo one has. It fits perfectly, only about $200, it doesn't rub the ground as easily and it doesn't get as messed up when it you do scrape it on the ground.

As for aero affects, I'll let you know the next I get going that fast...

I see your points. I am not worried about dragging it, it was already dinged when I got it. I am very careful with it. I probably will just put stock one back on, found for under $300. You can buy a few of these for price of one of those aero ones. Thanks
