Presets and Steering Wheel control

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

I finally gave in and decided to buy my first Porsche... a 2006 Cayenne. :clapping:

Been sitting in the car and reading through the manuals, but can't seem to get this right.

I have the standard in-dash CD radio. Does anyone know if it is possible to change the radio using the station presets from the steering wheel? Currently, the steering wheel buttons operate in manual mode only. ...

Thanks!

I have the same issue with my 05 Cayenne, Loren do you have any ideas? I currently have to press the numbers on the keypad to change radio presets.

Thanks!

I thought you just select source (the notes button) to radio then use the arrow buttons to go forward and backward - but I haven't tried it.

Hi Loren,

I meant being able to go through the station presets by using the steering wheel controls.

Thanks.

Sorry to say that it only switches frequency not presets

Make sure you have saved some stations first or have set it for Autosave.

Another thing is there is a manual tuning setting in the radio also. Make sure that is not checked. Sure way to tell is if you turn the knob (right) it should go to the next preset, and not start scan.

Hope this helps.

PS: Anyone with voice command?
