RPM signal available on OBD?

I bought a G2Extreme logger and it has a tach input. It wants a square wave 5V signal for RPMs. I understand this may be available from OBD, is there a pin on OBD with this or where can I get the RPM signal on the car.

Yes, drop the OBD connector down and you will see a green/violet wire (top row of wires to the far left as I recall). You can use a crimp on connector and not disturb anything. I installed the sam unit in a Box S and am planning on installing it in the 4s I am getting.

Any updates on this? I am planning on installing a G2X as well this weekend. Any suggestions on where to tap into 12V switched power?
