Removing lid on rear console

Hi,

I'm changing out my rear console, and want to take the oddments lid off my old console and put it on my new console.....Is it just a case of unscrewing things, or is it the same procedure (using rivets etc) as in the TSB for replacing the hinge on a 996 oddments lid....I have a 997 S

The 997 console is quite different than the 986/996 console. The parts diagram looks like it has a similar hinge, spring and screws. It should be able to be transferred easily - once the console is removed from the car.
