Hello, all...This is my first post to the RennTech forums, but I hope to be a regular here.

I'm looking to also make my first purchase from Sunset for parts. One of the things that bugs the crap out of me the most about my Cayenne is not having headlights that come on and off by themselves. I have Bi-Xenon headslights on my CS, but there is no selection for "auto" on my headlight selector. Here is an image of mine, but I saw a Turbo at my dealership yesterday that had an "auto" selection to the right of the off and to the left of the parking lights. Is there an option for this and what part numbers and headache for installation am I looking forward to?

Unless someone has a third party unit , I would trade your car in for one that has it, it will cost you as much to have it fitted and wired. The Cayenne has VIN specific wiring (to save weight ..sic) so a major comfort control unit, wiring and dealer PIWIS programming will be required.

I am guessing $3k minimum

My V6 has that option.. Came as part of the "comfort Pack" option

Tell your dealer that you are exporting the Cayenne to Canada and need the daytime running lights on. I needed this done as Ibought a US Cayenne, 2 minutes job via there computer connection and headlights turn on and off with ignition. Easy and was free.

I know this is an old post but has anyone found a solution. When I sold my 06 and got the 08 I completely forgot about that package, i would agree that it might just be the switch, seeing as it houses the light sensor as well. But like all things electronic on a p-car, if they can make it more complicated they will.
