This board is a great resource!

I had a fail to start problem Won't Start and Solenoid and through Loren's assistance avoided a trip to the dealer or local Indy shop for a new (or rebuild) starter and R&R charges. Total 1.5 hour job for proficient DIY'er.

New soleoind from Wagner Alternators in Chino Hills http://www.wagneralt.com for $40.45 and I'm back in business. (800)345-5927 Ask for Erik or Rick. The original one they sent with the correct part number for my starter 996 604 107 00, Bosch 0 001 115 011 came without the solenoid plunger rubber boot. They built one up, Fedex'd on their dime and I had the correct replacement part installed the next day in Virginia. Talk about great Customer Service. I will use them for all future electrical needs.
