  1. Try 7430
  2. Did you use the Lost Radio Code FAQ procedure to get your radio's correct serial number?
  3. Try 0807
  4. Try 5097
  5. I would tend to agree. While it is always best to have zero leaks a drop or two per week is nothing I would be concerned about. My 996 Rear Main Seal (RMS) leaked about a drop a week for 5 or 6 years. I never repaired it nor did it leak enough to require adding any oil between oil changes. Of course if leaks more it would need to be dealt with.
  6. I buy all my single use or very low use tools from Harbor Freight.
  7. In both cases you will likely need Durametric or PIWIS to diagnose and pinpoint the problem(s). The modern electronics in these cars today run all accessory features through electronic controllers that can be easily tested for component failures.
  8. Sorry, I can not help with your Becker Mexico Pro. We only cover the Porsche radios as stated in the Lost Radio Code FAQ
  9. Try 8709
  10. Try 5490
  11. Try 6563
  12. Try 0739
  13. You did not read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "Can you give me a code for my PCM? These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/ OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code, and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested. Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/ OPC."
  14. Try 8585
  15. Aerokit I - fits MY97 to MY01 Aerokit II - fit MY02 to MY04 Different design of the Aerokit II to fit newer model means it will not work on older cars (without body-shop modifications). Aerokit I also installs using epoxy for the sideskirts - so they must be held tightly in place while drying (to look like a factory install). Best to find a good body-shop that knows how to do that. I am sending you a PM also.
  16. Try 7392
  17. Did the mechanic do the ATF fill correctly? Did he/she use a thermometer to make sure it was full at the proper temperature?
  18. P0717 (Porsche codes 91 and 92) Stall speed, transmission input - signal implausible Gear monitoring, transmission input speed - signal implausible P0732 Gear monitoring, 2nd gear - signal implausible P0733 Gear monitoring, 3rd gear - signal implausible P0734 Gear monitoring, 4th gear - signal implausible P0735 Gear monitoring, 5th gear - signal implausible
  19. Try 5656
  20. Try 5239
  21. Was this a legal Porsche branded PIWIS or a China Knock-off? There almost has to be a fault in the alarm system.
  22. Try 8612
  23. Why not spend the money and get the car scanned - then you will know the problem exactly - instead of guessing.
  24. or a bad water pump... Take the belt off to eliminate the water pump and pulley system.
  25. Best use a Porsche scan tool and see what zone the alarm system thinks is open.
