  1. This is a radio not a CD player serial, right? Not sure that's pretty old. Try 7289
  2. Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ? If not, then your radio may have been repaired and the serial number changed (electronically. If you did use the procedure and the code I gave you does not work then it is likely that the radio was repaired by someone other than Becker - in that case I can not help you.
  3. Lost Radio Codes DO NOT START A NEW TOPIC FOR A LOST RADIO CODE. DO NOT EMAIL ADMINS. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ FIRST before posting - then post in the one thread.
  4. You should be able to test the ELV with a PIWIS tester. Way easier than removing the steering column. I think that only one screw holds the ELV in place - it's just a quest of being able to get to it.
  5. Best to scan for fault codes using a Porsche compliant scanner.
  6. Or... the bracket that hold the solenoid is cracked. That happened on 996TT a few times.
  7. P0021 Possible fault causes - Dynamic driving style when oil level is near minimum (oil foaming) - Solenoid hydraulic valve faulty => (e.g. mechanical fault or dirt in the oil circuit) - Oil pressure too low => (e.g. due to oil dilution, oil thickening, wrong oil quality, fault in oil pressure control or oil pump) - Intake camshaft adjuster faulty - Camshaft stuck (incorrect or faulty installation)
  8. Bumper Plugs can do that... Rear Center Console - 996/986 BUMPERPLUGS.COM Custom paint-matched or contrasting console, finished in 19 stage factory chemistry to brighten up Porsche interior.
  9. You could try either Becker or Siemens repair centers.
  10. Is that the serial number as displayed on the unit or the serial tag on the top or back? The serial tag may not be correct if the unit has ever been repaired - even by Becker. If a third party ever repaired they didn't reset serial number properly - if that is the case I can't help you.
  11. Porsche alarms were option on Boxster. M535 is the correct control unit. The alarm horn should be down to the right of the battery and is just the horn. Sometimes it is hard to see.
