  1. Ron, Try wheelenhancement.com they have all the latest and sometimes take offs. They will trade as well.
  2. I believe that you adjust the volume of the nav with the volume control while she is speaking. It will always be louder than the audio system though. Hope this helps.
  3. When I get the car home and have a chance to look it over, I will re post any questions. Thanks
  4. Loren, I just looked at the pics of the car I am buying, and the rear spoiler is different than the illustration you posted. On the car I am buying, It has the Factory installed Aerokit Turbo II f&r Spoilers. I notice that there is no wiring to the underside of this rear spoiler. I want to replace it with a factory split grill engine lid with the integrated moveable spoiler. On the stock lid I am looking at, it has a wiring harness that has a plug connector on the end of it. My question is, did the factory supply the wiring for this type lid even though it came with the Aerokit? Is it just tucked under the insulation, and be just a simple plug in connection at that point? Thanks.
  5. Loren, Thanks for the reply. Do you think the wiring would be there, and all I would need to do is connect it, and install and wire a switch?
  6. to purchase a 1998 993C2S with factory installed Aerokit Turbo II F/R Spoilers, and I want to remove the rear spoiler to replace it with a stock split grill engine lid. My question is pertaining to whether the factory installed wiring for the retractable spoiler, at both engine area as well as the switch area?
  7. 18" will give a better ride, while 19" will be better handling. both 18" and 19" have the same diameter so it will not change speedometer/odometer. Why would you want to put 18" instead of19" on a S ?
  8. I am looking at a 993 and noticed that the lever to tilt the seat forward is missing, is this a complicated thing to replace? would the seat need to be taken apart? Thanks
  9. question about becoming a donating member, I do not use Paypal, and really do not want to. Is there another way to donate/ Thanks, Jay pm me please.
  10. That is a problem, when you remove the coating, the rear of the car gets very light, and tends to float. Looks great OE
  11. tire/wheel from a 996 fit my 997? I want to make sure it will bolt on, and clear the caliper. I just want to make sure it fits, and do not care about size differences once it is on. I want to use this in an emergency, rather than the sealer that comes with the 997. I searched, and can't find anything. Thanks.
  12. jcnesq... I too had the Fabspeed mufflers, I removed them after 1 day, not my style either. Could you give me your impression of the PSE sound? is it similar to the PSE on the 996? I want to install this, but I have not had the chance to hear it, so I would like some opinions please. Thanks
  13. Do you know of any way that I can verify? Thanks
  14. else who would know. I am going to order the PSE for my non S 997, and would like to know if I can install the mufflers, without the on/off switch, and if so, do I need to do anything special, or is the default always on. I know it can be done on the 996, and I would assume, it can on the 997, but I want to be sure. Thanks.
  15. Loren, is there a difference between the 996 and 997 sport exhaust muffler?
  16. Nav system discs. I have a set of disc's for PCM2, and I want to make sure that these will only work in 2003 and 2004 cars. Is this correct? I had someone ask if these would work in a 2001 996 and I was unsure. Thanks
  17. I like the sound, and the quality is excellent, it's just that I would rather have PSE. I had heard that PSE would not be available for quite some time, and now I find out that is not the case. So I am offering these Fabspeeds for a great deal. email me at jnx113@charter.net if interested. Thanks
  18. on PSE for my 997? I have my Fabspeed mufflers for sale if anyone is interested. Used 1 day. They are perfect.
  19. Thanks to Orient Express for the info and pic's Great job, and thanks.
  20. What is the trick to remove the long and short bolts holding the muffler to the bracket? They hit at the top, and I don't see what else can be loosened, or removed. I have a 2005 997, and I am removing/replacing mufflers.
  21. mufflers void the factory warranty for the car? Just mufflers leaving cats alone. I hear conflicting stories on this. Thanks
  22. Loren, or anyone else, Have you heard about Workshop Service Action W545 ? It has to do with a supposed machining error. If so, How can I find out if I am lucky enough to have one of these cars? Thanks
