  1. I would consider the weight, unfortunately I don't know if they are heavier or lighter. I think they look great. Here's pics of a seal grey one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2490170098 -Scott
  2. If you go to the member directory ( http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?act=Members) and click the user name, there is a link to show all posts by this user right below the name http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showuser=137 -Scott
  3. I don't think the rears are the correct offset. I think for the narrow body, you want 63mm offset. The Turbo Look II wheels come in a wide range of sizes and offsets. -Scott
  4. Thanks. I'm thinking about getting the PSE from Brandywine as well, but installed at the dealer. I imagine the dealer's price will be a bit higher, but we'll see. Thanks again, Scott
  5. Jason, Where did you get it installed and, if I may ask, how much did it cost? Thanks, Scott
  6. If you know the brand you want, you can sometimes find installers on their web pages. For example, X-Pel shows X-Pel of Nevada 10127 West Charleston Suite "B" Las Vegas, NV 89135 702-320-2068 I think many of them are using the same material from 3M, they just cut it and install it. -Scott
  7. The "Turbo Look II" wheels are made in a variety of sizes and offsets. I believe for a C2 you want the 18x10 ET65 rears and fronts 18x8 ET52. I don't think the Turbo sized wheels will work on a C2. I think the recommended tire for 18x10 is 285 http://www2.us.porsche.com/english/usa/acc...edertabelle.htm -Scott
  8. Cool. Glad it worked out for you. Please post some pics of your car, as is and also when you get your new wheels. -Scott
  9. 1. I would not go narrower on the front. Just doesn't seem right. 2. Are you saying the rears are different sizes? No way I would do that. I think you can find a better set of wheels out there and I'd pass on this deal. Try calling wheel enhancement and see what the price would be. There are always tons of wheels on ebay as well. http://www.wheelenhancement.com/Style.htm Good luck, Scott
  10. Tony, Yes, 18", thanks for catching that, I've edited the post. -Scott
  11. I'm thinking about getting the GT3 style wheels for my C4S and Carnewal has them in GT2 sizes (they're used on the '04 GT2) and Turbo sizes. Will GT2 size wheels fit on a C4S without needing spacers or rubbing? F: 18x8.5 ET40 R: 18x12 ET45 (edited, thanks for catching it) GT2 Wheels The Turbo sizes are: F: 18x8 ET 50 R: 18x11 ET45 GT3 Wheels in Turbo Size They are the same price and I might as well get as much rubber to the road as possible. Thanks, Scott
  12. Congratulations on your new car. Don't let your dealer's parts counter scare you away from Porsche parts. There are many sources for authentic Porsche parts at good prices. Check out http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant..._Code=POTE996SS and you can get parts from Sunset Porsche (link at top) at cost + 15%. -Scott
  13. Check this out... http://raptorperformance.com/ I just found a link to this on another board. I dunno how to make it work on Pcars, but on BMW, the RPM signal is available on the OBD connector. Maybe Loren knows the pinout of this connector. -Scott
  14. Bernie, You can download the order guides here http://www.suncoastporsche.com/guides/index.html they show all of the options packages. -Scott
  15. This may be a stupid question... The C4S exhaust tips do not have the bend in them like the C2 tips do, so how do I re-use my existing exhaust tips? Is there a piece of pipe between the mufflers and current tips that I re-use? Thanks, Scott
  16. I wonder if the $7k price reflects a "core" exchange and the 21k price is a purchase with no engine returned. -Scott
  17. Wow, those wheels look great on the Boxster... -Scott
  18. Remember there is a tolerance on these components, +/-10mm is a number I've read somewhere. Not all cars will be exactly the same. -Scott
  19. I have had the same thought and think it's a good idea. I've seen a few visors on ebay but most are tan or grey (I have black). If I find one for cheap I might buy it to take it apart. There are also rear-view mirrors available with Homelink, but I'm not sure if they would mount properly. http://www.truckspecialties.com/mitomirror/homelink.htm -Scott
  20. The C4S tips I have sitting here are labeled EISENMANN EP7120 43/02 (last part is probably date code, 43rd week of '02 or something). -Scott
  21. No. The C2, C4S and Turbo all use different tips. The C2's have a small vertical pipe attached. The C4S and Turbo are just tips, and although they look the same, the Turbo's are a bit shorter. Porsche recently added P/Ns to their webstie. See the links below -Scott http://www2.us.porsche.com/isapi/english/u...kat=Performance http://www2.us.porsche.com/isapi/english/u...kat=Performance
