    i did the same thing, but my remote has such a lame range, that it cant get the signal through when its inside the glove box. i will be moving it into the A-pillar tomorrow -- hopefully it will give me a better range.

    but it just seems like that piece where sun visor clips into was stopping it. it has some wires going to it also (i think its +12v for sun visor lights) but you could be right. i might just not have pulled hard enough - was afraid to break it of course.

    HELP. SOS. I cant remove the trim that goes between the dome lights and a-pillar. it looks like the hook where sun visors clip-in is firmly in place. dont want to break it. any suggestions? please? pretty please? i look retarded sitting my car all taken apart in the driveway :)

    its a 2003 C2 cabriolet. i want to remove: * driver side a-piller (i think this one is simple - two torx screws by sunvisor?) * driver side air vent cover (how do i remove light switch?) * trim that goes from interior light switch to driver side a-piller * trim under steering wheel? (where your knees touch) basically i want to run the V1 cable under all these items instead of trying to tuck it into them (not as clean of an install as i'd like)

    hi tim. so what does it give you? as far as i understand, you can insert a SIM card into a PCM system which shows you your address book and allows you to dial in/out using the car as the phone, right? the only problem i see with that is it might get annoying to remove/insert your SIM card in/out of the phone every time you get into the car - right?
