  1. Yes Loren I am aware of that. This is the reason why I would need the diagrams or even the wiring colours because the harness is not meant for the body where it is mounted on.
  2. Okay. My problem is that I can't get tester connected to DME and the engine doesn't run. It is suspected that the body wiring harness has been replaced with a wrong one or at least it has been tampered with. I would have to know what are the pinouts and wire colours for 996 my2000/2001 7.2 and 2002 dme7.8 to locate the fault.
  3. Hi! If anyone could help. I would need wiring diagrams for 2000 and 2001 and 2002 Carrera 2. Please! Especially DME 7.2 and 7.8 wiring is in needed but also IMMObilizer for these years is in need. I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me!
  4. Hi Loren, I think that variocam system is the same on m96.01/02/04 engines even though the displacement is bigger on later series m96.04? Please correct me if I'm wrong. The m96.03 series engines have different type cam system (VarioCam plus). It would be essential for me to know the difference between DME units 99661860400 and 99661860500 so that I know which one to buy for my project. And This is the source I'm referring to as I think I'm having the late 661 m96/04 as displacement 3.6l Porsche 911 (996) Engine Numbers (All Years) WWW.STUTTCARS.COM Porsche 911 (996) Engine Codes At its debut, the 996 featured the most significant change from the classic 911 series: a...
  5. Hi! Continuing this old thread with a new problem; I`ve got a 996 manual my2000 that is being under built. It is originally 3.4l and has had a DME 99661860400 which is now broken and I don`t think it can be fixed anymore. Well I`m swapping the engine now to m96.04 3.6l MY2001. My question is do I need an DME 99661860500 and will it be able to function in this body? Also the original key of the car is missing so I`ll be having some immobilizer issues in any case once I get all the parts needed..... Hope someone could give me some information for this situation!
  6. Could you please help me with my CDR-22 radio code; Model BE 4467 Serial No: 15038139 99664512200 Many many Thanks 🙂
