  1. If you press twice the lock button, than you disable the interior sensors, that's way the horn beeps.
  2. Leaving the exhaust noisy have no consequence on warranty. The relay box is located above the fuse box on the left A pillar.
  3. The problem occurs only at idle or higher RPM? Take note that it is not possible to rev. the engine above approx. 3000 RPM when the car is not in gear ( driving )
  4. cyl.1= near the waterpump.
  5. 1 6 2 4 3 5 cyl.=near the waterpump.
  6. It's approx. what the Cayenne original option does, i think it's worth it, if your government not enter into an obligation to have day running lights in the next couple of months.
  7. Maybe i'm wrong, the door sill ( with the front and rear trunk controls ) is still hold by two allen bolts 5mm.
  8. As mentioned, the park brake light is on? If yes check the fuses to be sure, but most frequently issue is the top latch switch.

  13. It is normal that the damper rod turns round when you tight the nut, use a allen key to block the rod. And no, there is no damage.
  14. Push the accelerator or deeper or quicker or both.
  15. The last generation ( 987 - 997 and Cayenne ) standard spark plugs are OK for 90.000 Km or 4 years, please give me a good reason to change with iridium ones.
  16. The cable coming from the electric motor to the latch is probably broken, if you can hear the motor noise. Use the emergency cable in the rear left wheel well near the bumper to open the trunk. Do a search, it happens regularly.
  17. 987 go's electronic, you are on the wrong forum i presume.
  18. The black colored oil is coming from the clutch disc friction material, which means there is ( was ) too much slip. Give it a try with fresh ATF and keep the tip. replacement for later on.
  19. Give it a try with a new or another latch switch, it's not that expensive.
  20. Engine oil, grease, petroleum jelly is all fine, no problem with that.
  21. 997 remotes are reprogrammable, you need E-pass, PIWIS and all the car keys you have. This is a dealer job.
  22. You have to remove: steering wheel airbag steering wheel trim airbag central sensor Now you got access to the stalk ( all other stalks can stay in place )
  23. As mentioned in my earlier post, ( let ) find out why the clutch is damaged.
  24. ATF level check at 40° C. max. Tiptronic oil temperature !!!
  25. Look in the nav.menu if NAVI-FIX is ON, if it is change to NAVI-FIX OFF and go back to FACTORY SETTINGS. If the problem persist a visit to the dealer is recommended.
