    The car start with the service key, he contains a transponder. The remote is not reprogrammable on a 04, you need a new blade and a new remote. I hope this helps.

    To open it, unscrew the TORX-screw and pull the connector out the A-pillar. At the same time give a look on the back side of the connector where the wiring gets, in and pull gently for loose or broken connections cause corrosion.

    Check the light switch.

    After removing the two allen bolts, you have to pull with both hands the tail light out from the front to the rear. There is a plastic clip situated on the rear and approx. in the middle of the light and sticks as hell. You can with a wooden wedge push the light out after protecting the paint with tape, it is a painful moment but after you heard a loud CLAC the light comes out without any damage. Success.

    There is a micro switch in the left B pillar ( seat belt area ) you have to dismount the interior trim, the switch is well hide.

    There are no longer workshop manuals available over here since the PIWIS tester is programmed as manual for 987-997, perhaps Lauren or someone else can help you with a wiring diagram. Regards.

    If it happens only under braking there is 99% chance that the control arms ( the longerons with the uni ball fixation ) are used. Thy are very difficult to check for play.

    Hi The correct size is 76 mm and 14 flutes.

    Hi The problem areas for that are: MAF sensor - brake light switch - wiring on the front shock absorber left and / or right in the area of the fixation grommet, you have to cut the wire and grommet open, broken wiring by up and down movements of the shock absorber. I hope its helps.

    Yellow connectors are always security system connectors ( airbag etc. ) be careful with that. Is it possible that the tilt function inside the seat is faulty ? Take note that the car is programmed for MEMORY SEATS, you have to change that whit a PIWIS tester.

    Check for play on rods from sway bar to shockabsorber,silentblocs sway bar to chassis and control arms first.It is not easy without elevator.

    Put the convertible top in service position-remove the carpet on top of the engine bay-remove the carpet behind the seats-remove the service fence-disconnect the battery-remove the poly-V belt-remove the two retaining bolts(1 normal and 1 with the pulley roller)-remove the alternator while you disconnect the wiring. Success.

    You can try to head the connection between the rod and the top mount to save the spring, all the rest shock absorber and COMPLETE top mount need to be replaced in this case. Bad luck.

There is water infiltration in the booster when the water drains are clogged, it is a well known problem in rainy country's as mine. If it is the case clean the drains and replace the booster.

    The rotors are rusted on the hubs even after a short time of use, remove the TORX bolt that hold the rotor in place, remove the brake caliper and give the rotor a tap with a hammer from the inside to the outside and the rotor will come off.
