  1. ya, i prefer it painted, i wish i could like it black... so i wouldnt have to worry aobut it chipping..
  2. its all right. why is he putting on the black one? too many chips?
  3. just put that Rain-X stuff on ur windows, so the water doesnt sit on it...
  4. how do they get damaged in the first place? is it the door that rubs on it?
  5. only thing left to install are the front spoiler and the rear gurney... Front spoiler was painted and installed, but then i scraped it and the paint like tore off.. so i took a it off and used adhesion promoter, so the paint will stick to the plastic.
  6. still trying to decide if i should put the carrera logo back on... i like when people dont know what it is :D
  7. Aerokit and PSE installed! PSE surprised me, thought it was going to be kinda quiet since its a factory part, but really made me smile when i first started it up.
  8. i just installed mine and i had to swap the mounting brackets, but my pipes lined up perfectly...
  9. from reading the instructions over and over again... i guess i remove the 3 plastic pieces after i put the metal retaining strip on, then I put epoxy in the retaining strip then apply the side skirt. My another question is I can use normal epoxy on it right? or do I have to get the K2 adhesive? sorry for asking so many questions, just want everything done perfectly..
  10. thanks so much for the instructions, but i already drilled into the side, should i fill them in with somehting so it doesnt rust? and inside the side skirt, theres like a latch thing across the whole inside of the side skirt, does it latch onto the metal piece? Wouldnt the 3 plastic piesces be in the way? thanks so much
  11. what do you mean? are you suppose to use double sided tape on it? in the inside of the side skirt it has a plastic piece that is suppose to latch onto the metal piece you screw onto your body... thinking about using double sided tape jsut to keep it as close to the body as possible. would you think thta would work?
  12. im installing an aerokit cup for my 99 c2 and im stuck on figureing out how to evenly place the metal bracket so it fits with the side skirt well. If there is an easy way id appreciate knowing! thanks! Porsche does not send directions:(
  13. ya im going to have left over electronics too. Would you think anyone would buy them?
  14. if i bought the PSE witht he electronics, and i dont install the electronics, it will be on at all times right? Im guessing there is no difference, it is just the electronics that amke the difference, but all PSE can be fitted with the electronics without ordering it with them. Hope you understood that, ha. I ordered the PSE with the electronics, but i decided i dont want the electronics anymore, so i can jsut install the mufflers and it will be loud right?
  15. doncapecod has the exact same problem, Im not sure its blown oil, but its jsut like black build up, do i need a new clutch, doesnt feel like i need a new clutch. its not where the tranny and the engine meets, so im happy about that. but info on the blown oil and clutch?
  16. I was looking on my garage floor and there is alot of drops of oil on the floor, coming from the bottom of the block. and the whole bottom of the block looks oily and black (build up?) wondering if its just a minor oil leak or its an RMS. Dont have warrenty, so im scared that it is...
  17. ya, very true, i think im going to go with on all the time. I really dont want squeeks and rattles... they are annoying! but good thing i fixed the one i had before, so now i dont have any:D . Can you tell me how much louder it is than stock. Ive heard the PSE on there website, but i want to know from you guys. Like, is it goiong to make a good difference from stock. Im hoping its loud and people can hear it when i drive by.
