  1. I found a 36 Piece Extended Driver Bit Set with T 10 thru T40 for $16.99 at Griot's Garage. Each bit is 3 inches long. Jeff
  2. Tool Pants - is there another way to order your DVD set without using paypal? I am going to replace the headlights on my 99 C2 with Litronics and add a three spoke steering wheel. Thanks. Jeff
  3. Loren, Do you have DIY instructions for swapping out a four spoke steering wheel for a three spoke steering wheel? I searched and could not find specific instructions. Thanks, Jeff
  4. I have one on my car and it has saved me at least once. I noticed that I have some scrapes on the bottom back corner of the plate. I believe that the engine plate is worth it. Jeff
  5. Loren, Do you have the logo position for 1999 C2 models? I just broke my Carrera logo yesterday while washing the car and have a new one on order. Also, is there a trick to getting the glue that holds the logo off of the car? I know about using dental floss to get the logo off of the car... just need ideas for getting the glue off. Thank you. Jeff
  6. Itzkirb, How much did the whole tinting job cost using Huper Optik? Thanks, Jeff
  7. mffarrell, (sorry I called you Karl in my first post) Do not use the small Torx wrench that is provide with the Bra. I used a very good set of Snap-On torx sockets for mine with a socket wrench and had no problems. The key is to use a good wrench and the technique that Loren mentions of a lot of pressure so that the torx does not slip. Jeff
  8. Tool Pants (Jeff), Can you get the 2000 shaped switches from a parts dealer for the 1999 996? Do you know where to find the 2000 dummy switches? I personally do not like the dummy switch covers on the 1999. Thanks, Jeff
  9. I have the same sound when the AC has been on and it is hot outside. I read somewhere on rennlist that this is caused by a release valve in the AC system. Others on rennlist have complained of the same sound. If there is a fix I would be interested. Jeff
  10. Don and Karl, Thank you for the information. Jeff
  11. Don, Where did you buy your RUF pedals? After looking at the pictures of your car with the RUF pedals they sure look great. Have you had any issues with your foot slipping off of the pedal? Thanks, Jeff
