  1. Loren should I lift the seat and give it another shot directly @ the battery?
  2. First thing first the battery was at 50%. Charging it now back to full strength then we'll see where this goes....
  3. Can't hurt to charge the battery then? CTT is definitely not acting low on voltage tho but must I charge battery directly under seat or via terminals in engine compartment?
  4. I saw that you had this problem.....how much by an Indy with me sourcing parts?
  5. Car will not start, all power comes on, everything in the car works as usual, but no crank. I got out my Durametric but theres no power to the OBD port. No LED illuminates on Durametric tool and cale not ready message is displayed. I actually jacked the car up a bit and turned the wheels all the way left and right....still nothing. Dear Jesus. I have had the Flu a week since Sunday and finally get out of bed to this. HELP ME.......
  6. That shudder when I start is annoying but motor mounts and upper control arms in front are next...
  7. Motor mounts are the remaining culprit. I do have Durametric now is there something specific I can test on the MAFs and 02s? All new fuel delivery system, vacuum lines, starter, water pump and thermostat, plugs and coils, front lower control arms, expansion talk and lines..... The idle is pretty much fine except when you first start the CTT. I think I want to do air intakes and the fabspeed pipes now just for S&Gs.
  8. Loren I have to do the same PLUS front axles - anyone do these yet. I have the parts just sitting.
  9. Tried to buy a 997 today and couldnt do it......still love the 955 too much. That is saying something.
  10. ECS Turbo S arms. $265 labor incl alignment. Now I need uppers replacing and I went and bought halfshafts for the clicking fronts. Looks like upper arms are pretty **** straightforward and halfshafts as well....any other Porsches/VW/Audi DIYs cross ref?
  11. Looking at the coolant Ts now......not seeing much but the intake is still on. All i'm seeing is some pray on the passenger side cat......remove intake? I ordered EVERYthing mentioned to replace while back there from ECS Tuning. Maybe it will get fixed this wk, but I doubt it.
  12. Well I did the vacuum lines already. I emailed my guy at Sonnen to let them know. Something has to come from Germany......anyone have a detailed DIY? Also should I change the hose running from the coolant reservoir/overflow? It appears there are three hoses that could be replaced and if I'm back there why not? My role is always been if one goes, the others can't be far behind.
  13. http://www.ecstuning.com/Porsche-2004-Cayenne-955-Turbo-Sport_Utility-V8_4.5L/Engine/Cooling/Hoses/ES1441594/ Here we go!
  14. Not that I know.......BUT I did just look and the coolant smell is at the back of the motor, and the U/L hoses are perfect, no coolant on my underpan up front near the fan.....****TTTTTTTT. Looking for DIY now.
  15. Well, when it pours it's raining.........got me a puddle o coolant under the car just as I pull in to send wife and child on a roadtrip. My X5 4.8i is at my mechanic's for oil valve seals. DANG. Now what? Probably just have it towed over to him rather than crawl under and start investigating.....no need. At least hoses are cheap, depending on which one went, if there's a common one that goes. Alu pipe conversion was done at 76k mi. i'll be perusing the coolant system diagram if anyone needs me. Borrowed an A6 Avant for them to enjoy. The back seat sure fit that baby seat better than my CTT!
  16. Well today, literally an hour ago BOTH of my fronts went kaboom.....turn either way and its horrifying......embarrassingly loud and crunchy......Who has the best quality reman vs OE Porsche parts at ECS Tuning @ $185x2?
