  1. he control module needs to be an exact match. Also you will not have an 04 transmission, when they changed mine they told me they were only using 05s or later. mine has been good for 70K miles since it was done
  2. By the time is does the thump thump dance its only a matter of a SHORT period of time before your max will be 20mph on the way to the shop. I speak from experience ugh !
  3. Your welcome but please join as a contributing member, it pays for itself many times over

  5. The T pipes, to my knowledge were never replaced with metal ones. I know someone who tried to fabricate metal ones and failed. Life expectancy of the T pipes varies depending on geographic location, similar to the coolant pipe, expect every 50K worst case until they decide to put metal in. I think a small shop could create metal ones given there was a market (indeed there is)
  6. There is not one specific place for the instructions because (I guess) the fool who designed them did not think they would fail. There is a pictorial guide on doing the work your self either here or on Rennlist. From what I saw it is a PIA but doable. I paid $823 after PCA discount, the parts are $523 from onoine sources.
  7. In general the dealers seem to be averse to replacing all coils and plugs any more. I for one would replace the lot because if 1 or two went the rest are not far behind however, the knocking can also be the center bearing on the drive shaft. Certainly the car is the right MY and miles
  8. +1 they fall off, and the fasteners have never siezed on me
  9. Sorry I should have been more specific, US models did not come with it. ROW did
  10. if temp gauge is vertical then thats normal while driving, it will get higher when stopped especially in Jordan
  11. I just had my second shaft fitted, it will get worse until its unusable, Sounds identical, by the time I took mine in it was the drive of shame at 25mph max during rush hour ;-( Mine was $810 for the parts and $238 to fit. The center bearing was toast 04 S
  12. The part was faulty from its manufacturer so you can get it from any dealer for less than $20. You can use a small flat bladed screwdriver to move the catch to open it. its about an hours work to replace it the trim strip above the glovebox just levers off from its spring clips the screws are under it
  13. wow a veritable cornucopia of descriptions of 03/04 issues and tranny control unit problems. 03/04 people get used to it unless you can shell out for an 05 tranny and control unit turbo, get piwis on the system and make sure tranny control unit is ok
  14. Hi there. Wonder if you can help. My hard drive just fried and I cannot find the install of PET you sold me. Any chance I could DL a replacement if its not to much trouble

    Mike

    Sorry

  15. Only later 05s played mp3's, its not software its firmware. Headunit only not changer if equipped as far as I know \
