    Motor oil

HI, DO NOT use fully synthetic oils in cars up to 993, because these oils are damaging the oil pump. It's true. We use SHELL SUPER HELIX in 964's and 911(T)1973-we will use this one too when the car will be ready. DO NOT use CASTROL in PORSCHE. IN new models we put MOBIL 1 sorryformy english
  2. too much money, there are firms in Germany, they rebuild your engine, replace or rebuild your parts, and it's like new. It's about 6000-7000EUR for complete engine. You just need to find them.
  3. Hi, pretty same like ours, they said that this is some kind of factory mistake, but I still don't know why this happened in our case.A lot of cayenne's died like ours and yours
  4. our GT2 goes on 1.3,is that normal?
  5. O,sorry I meant where are located in the car Thanks! I have problems with leveling the car,but on PTS2 I have no signal with magnetic field sensor and implausible signal from steering angle sensor, but I cant locate them, and I have problems with calibration-in front is too high, and calibration won`t accept my mm values
  6. hello, please need a help, Cayenne Turbo MY04, where to find a steering angle sensor,,, and where is magnetic field sensor-kompas Really thanks,if anyone know
  7. Hello, this is something like our Cayenne S,read topic Knocking during the cold start. Our knocking: When making more rpm's, frequency of tap tap tap increases also, and around 2000 rpms it either disappears or is drowned out by overall engine noise. when decelerating rpm's, and the idle pick's up again, it seems to be gone for an instant but then is there again. I can hear the noise also during decelaration: Like yours, but not the same engine
  8. Hello, hmm.nice topic. We have a Cayenne S and that car had some banging noise too,and the car was a few times checked on PTS2 and had no faults no misfires. Also it was checked everything you could possibly check..OK We were listening and checking- all 2 years! But,a few days ago first cylinder went away. The look from the inside was not good.Too much damaged,we decided to put in a used engine.I think its cheeper-just need to find a good engine for good price. Our friends from Germany(2 different connections),and they do only Porsche for a long time, said that those cars had this problems from the begining and regulary is the first cylinder. Slowly it will bangs even when it"s warm. The engine is still closed,so I have no better answers-yet(we looked on cam the inside of engine). Sorry for my english
  9. hello maybe,if the car had leaks before you bought it,and there was some changing(hose, radiators),maybe there was some air left in the system, and after those miles just went out. watch the coolant level every day if the leaks go bigger sorry for my english
  10. hello you will loose your drivability by putting 18" on, I didn't like the way how the car was driving
  11. hello,my name luka,have a C4 WTL 964,have no second muffler,just pipe,have it on for 5 years&no problem. But, music it's better that you turn it off.
  12. problem was, when our car arrived(crashed-front), front part of the car was totaly robbed, because of the US insurance policy, and there was no crashed parts only wings, one radiator(side),one headlight,,,and when Iwas putting together the car I found out that the water hoses, support's for radiators are not same as TURBO '02(in our country at PORSCHE service-don't know a lot about GT2,even worst the PET system is not their friend,if you know what I mean-never the right parts) so,I got little confusied, start working slower...then I found blinded connector for fan on left side and there was three relays missing directly for the left fan(3 stage),so I thought maybe there is only one(on the right side),because of weight, but not. Originaly there are two. Sorry for my english
  13. hello, I have a question,I think it's stupid but, does anyone know if 996GT2 have 2 fans on radiators, like other models,or is it possible that's only one? on right side Please help me if you have the answer
  14. Hello,TURBO 996-yes this car-one of the best performance car that has been built(production),they made the stronger chassis,PORSCHE brakes (no comment),really feel the road(but, not like the older versions) issues(that we know):radiators can't hold that water[:)] nothing seriusly little leaking issue when they are old or removed from the car and not stored well, water pump could have a longer lifetime, If you treat your porsche well, like you must, you won't have a lot of problems, the best service and storage (the way how you drive is really important too) but, the most important is WHEN YOU BUY A PORSCHE, YOU WILL ALWAYS DRIVE A PORSCHE for a little more money:996 GT2 BAD CAR if you like yourself[:)] this is really a car for racing, really mean machine, like to go fast-but don't push tooo hard!
  15. try by dissconnecting the battery for about 30 min and try again.........maybe
