  1. Can't stay up? I'm sorry but I can not resist...Try Viagra.
  2. Oops...Its BG44K. It is another fuel cleaner that I have been using (on other cars)...favorably compared with Techron.
  3. OK actually 4.5 minutes...but I have a cab. I just put the top part way down, unhook the bottoms, pull the foam back and twist the knob. Oh I love my cab!
  4. Check out this site for product reviews. I have found that your location has a great effect on which product works best (if at all...e.g., if you are in Southern California...nothing works well). http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/review_grades/C204/
  5. Love mine. No problems what so ever. Cars should come this way, IMO.
  6. What you do after the "5" days is unlock the car with the key and then push the remote. This will reset the alarm system and allow the remote to work with no alarm going off (you do not have to start the car).
  7. Jim, I have a 2004 TT so no emissions for 3 or 4 years (I would have the dealer do it). As far as PSS9 go they are not height adjustable as you think. The adjustments (1-9) are for stiffness. Don't have sways on mine!
  8. Jim, I had Orrin at Eurosport install them. You can DIY, but it is very tight in there and I did'nt want to screw up a clamp or something.
  9. Tough to answer a comparison because of course you won't find too many people that have tried more than one kind. I have the EVO and have had no problem. I think they are all better than the stock piece of plastic! BTW, the EVO one sounds awesome.
  10. Trust me on this...it is so easy to reset those tabs...you will not short the system or blow a fuse...and it is way easier than changing out the socket which is a royal PITA. Oh yeah the cost is nothing!
  11. The socket part has some "tabs" and a "spring" thing inside it...just pry the tabs in and the spring up.
  12. If you look inside the lighter, you can bend the connections back and it will work fine. This happened to me as well.
  13. I bought them direct from FVD (1660) and I got them installed at Eurosport in Englewood (also had several other things done so exact price I don't know...about 700. Ask for Orrin (303.789.2545). Email: esl@netherworld.com. Of course they aligned and corner balanced.
  14. Yes, X73 for TT. You will find 2 camps on this one. One has good reasons for stayiing with an OEM product (X73), the other...well PSS9s do give you the chance to play with more knobs (every guys dream). In any case either will be MUCH better than stock. I went with the FVD PSS9s and am very happy! I got an incredible deal also.
  15. According to the Porsche Manual...you should be ready to drive your car immediately after start-up. You should not warm your car up in idle!
  16. Scott, Congratulations on your new car. The 996TTcab is awesome. You should check out 6speedonline: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/forumdi...y.php?forumid=2 and Rennlist: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/forumdisplay.php?f=61 to ask your questions and to find out about mods.
  17. Billy, I change the settings just to play with the stiffness. They can be dialed in from 1-9 and it takes no time at all. The car does not need to be re-aligned or corner balanced to make these changes. Give a guy a knob and they are bound to play with it! I'm at 4/3 right now...try something else later.
  18. I have not driven both, but I will say I have changed my PSS9 settings several times...It is very easy (less than 5 minutes).
  19. Check out this thread to totally confuse you. http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...highlight=break There are two schools of thought as far as I can tell, one that suggests you follow Porsche recommendations and one that suggests you do something more aggressive. I posted some of thte same links to what some "experts" on engine break-ins have published: http://www.overboost.com/story.asp?id=1250 http://www.carcraft.com/howto/869/index22.html http://www.ntnoa.org/enginebreakin.htm http://www.enginesonly.com/break-in.html http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm
  20. I have this palm based unit; http://www.pocketlogger.com/?pid=help works fine.
