  1. FVD does make a a couple of nice systems for the 997.2 cars. There are several options. The one on my list is the long tube headers with 200 cell sport cats and PSE.
  2. Kind of late posting on this but what I found was that my 09 997.2 C2S only chirps if something is not properly shut when locking the car. If a window is partially down, glove box open or sunroof cracked open it will chirp. After I figured that out I decided it wasn't a bad idea. As l lock the car I look at the lights for a flash. If I hear a chirp I know something is not properly closed.
  3. Loren, Can you post the diagram for the 997.2 Aero Kit/Rear. I'd like to compare it to the box of parts I received. It also might help a bit with orientation. Thank you,
  4. Three of us from OVR had experienced oil temps in the 255 - 270 range with air temps in the low/mid 90s at Mid-Ohio. The water temperature was pretty much at 175 for all of us. The water temperature gauge appears not to move much until it is several degrees above 175. Afterwards all of us went with the 3rd radiator kit and saw improvements in the oil temperatures. On similar days my oil temperature went from 255-260 to 235-240 for a manual transmission. A friend with PDK saw a range change of 260 - 270 down to 245. These were noted at Mid-Ohio as well. With an oil to water cooler it makes since to me that additional cooling capacity should help with a reduction in oil temperatures. As a final note all of the cars with the 3rd radiator modification were using Mobil 1 0-W40.
  5. I had felt something like you have described in my Cayman S. The car had almost 17000 miles on it when I traded it. It was never an issue beyond an occasional extremely short clunk. I think it may caused by the lifting and shifting at the same time. The computer may get caught out on those brief occasions. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  6. I recently installed the sport option in my 09 Carrera S six speed. From the brief time I've driven the car post install it does seem to have better throttle response. My primary reason for the update was the benefit of the changes in PSM and ABS. I won't know about that util Spring. With the 20% off coupon I think I paid about$ 825. 7. Guard Transmission is making two types of LSD for the Gen 2 CS. A clutch pack and a TBD similar to the Quaife. In my opinion either one would be better than the factory LSD. I believe it is an allowed modification for the Interseries Caymans. The factory diffs did not hold up well.
  8. Not a 997 but my dealer told me the new paddle wheel would fit my 09 CS PDK. I have one on order. Could it be that Porsche is using intelligent cross platform sourcing?
  9. I hope someone has done this. I'm trying to put a set of adaptive sport seats in my Cayman S which came with heated standard seats. I might start a new thread since I need to know what goes into the adaptive seats in the way of connectors and wiring. I would think it can be done but then again this is a Porsche specific part. Thanks
