    Thanks Loren. I had seen this article on the web. It's actually how I found the product. It looks really good. Have you used the product. Can you use a paint stripper on the rims. Mine have some areas where it looks like a chemical like brake fluid had gotten on the rim and wore off the paint in areas. It was like it when I bought the car. Refinishing it looks like an easy enough job. Entertaining and cheap.

    I have an 03 S and I run 38 front 40 rear. I like the feel a lot better. Not as soft in corners.

    I have an 03 S with 45,000 mi and from what I understand it is mainly just the front. I will be replacing mine next week. The part is only about $100.00 and it doesn't look so difficult to replace. http://www.pedrosgarage.com/Site_3/Install_Front_Engine_Mount.html

    Mine is clicking as well. Is it just one bolt that holds it? Do you know what size?

    As an update, I have noticed that it does not do this when the stereo is set to CD. I think this tells me it is a problem with the head unit.

    The radiator fans run if the AC is on?? I don't remember if it was or not. I will check it. If the AC is off should the cooling fans be off on cold start up?

    I noticed the other day, after a cold start that the radiator fans were running. Is that normal? Do they run all of the time? Do they have two speeds, low and high, or just one? If two, what temp should the high kick in at?

    I ran the Mobil 0W-40 for a while but found that the engine was more noisy. The 5W-40 seemed to work better for me.

    This would be my thought too. I had a 944 that seemed to be possessed. The radio would turn on and off randomly somedays, the keyless entry was iffy, sometimes the gauges would die while driving, and worst of all sometimes the moonroof would unlatch itself. (That's seriously bad news in a 944) I just got a jeep too that would misfire on 1 cylinder whenever it rained. It was corrosion on the battery terminals both times. Get a wire brush and clean the inside of the terminals and the battery posts till they are shiny silver and then try it. It's good thing to do regardless and is a very cheap fix sometimes. I'll give that a try. Funny, I didn't even think about that. kinda reminds me of "ain't got no gas in it".

    The other day while replacing my half axle, I noticed that the wiring to that sensor was rubbed and almost broken. This was in the left wheel well. I repaired it. I'm not sure what was rubbing on it. I would check it. You just have to remove the left rear wheel. The sensor is attached to the control arm. It's pretty flimsy. The arm might have also detached or something.

    You might just try tightening the belt a little. They will whirl a lot of times when they slip.

    I haven't had that particular issue. I still haven't figured it out. I'm am guessing it's just a problem with the head unit at this point.

    I'm jealous. I wish someone would back into mine like that, so I could get a new grill on. I have a 2003 as well. Maybe your neighbor could hook me up. :)

    Well, I bought the 303 kit because I could just get it locally, but after reading in the instructions that you shouldn't get it on the paint, I ordered the Ragg Topp kit. I don't want to have to tape and cover everything like last time. Thanks for all of your input.

    I don't know if this is related, but the other day, I locked the door and the horn beeped when the alarm set. It's never done that before and never since. I know the stereo and alarm are all linked together.

    I wouldn't use Mobil 1 0w40 in a lawn mower either, or any other 2 cycle motor Please don't turn this topic into a Mobil 1 bashing discussion! That was never my intent in posting. There are plenty of other Mobil 1 comes straight from hell topics But it's soooo easy and it's fun. :)

    I haven't pulled the radio, because I don't have one of the Becker tools to pull the unit. I guess I'll have to order one. Does anyone have a photo of one. Maybe I could just make it. There is nothing that I know of that comes on 30 secs after starting. I also timed it and it is sometimes around 20 secs and sometimes a minute. I have also completely turned off the Climate Control and it still does it. I have also wiggled relays and fuses. Next step I guess is to pull the unit. What a pain.

    I'll bet it makes you feel good to know that they spent so much time answering your question. haha. I think I'll just stick with Castrol 5w-40.

    Can't beat RaggTopp cleaner and protectant. Much easier to apply than the Porsche stuff and same, if not longer lasting, protection. Make sure you get the one specifically made for fabric tops, as they also make a formulation for vinyl tops. Regards, Maurice. The Porsche stuff was a pain. I had to tape it all off like I was painting to keep it off the paint. I have heard the RaggTopp is good. Do you know of any local stores that sell it? Walmart, Autozone, O'Reileys, Pepboys, Napa etc.

    I have used the Porsche top sealant on the top, but I need to do it again and don't feel like driving all the way to the dealership. Is Scotch guard the same thing? When you use the Porsche sealant the water beads nicely on the top as if it were painted.

    I just did mine a couple of weeks ago as well. I had to also disconnect the track arm and remove the Cam bolt to get it to move enough. Definitely mark the cam. I pulled a dumb one and forgot. It was a hairy ride to the shop for the alignment. Luckily it was only about 5 miles away.
