  1. Thanks again Loren. That deserves another site donation. Sure saved me a lot of time. Happy Holidays
  2. One more question: Are the fronts 32mm and the rears 28mm in thickness??
  3. Have a 2008 TT with 19" standard wheels with regular brakes(iron). Can someone tell me what the diameter, in mm , the front and rear rotors are?
  4. Is there also a recommended mileage for changing the parking brake drum pads?
  5. In another thread on another forum, the OP was getting code faults P5612 and P9510. The consensus of opinion was to check the turbo vanes for proper lubrication and had the car been checked for the vane lube recall issued by Porsche.
  6. I have the Durametric Professional Cable that allows one to make changes to the coding in the various modules of the DME(Onboard Computer). We have discussed this issue in other forums and as far as I know there is no way to alter the coding in the "alarm" module to make the car "chirp". I think 09 newer 997-2 can be programmed differently with a PIWIS 2 tester.Best check with the dealer that has a PIWIS 2. If you take it to a dealer and he changes the various modules with the Porsche Tester to make it "chirp", please give the forum a "heads up" as to what changes he made and to what modules. I had a 09 Cayman S and now a 2012 Carrera S and can't make the change. Maybe the Durametric Beta 6 SW does not "see this Coding".

  8. What's on your mind?

  9. I would like to do the same on my 09 Cayman S. I assume you used your air bag. Was that a difficult transfer?
  10. As I posted on another thread, there is a new SW version available. The new ver is 6.0.2.0. I uninstalled ver 6.0.1.9 and then downloaded the new ver. To my knowledge this is the only SW(Beta 6.0) that will read DFI cars which is my case.
