  1. Did you ever solve your problem or does anybody have any advice. I have a similar problem and I'm struggling to find any answers. Cheers
  2. This happened on mine after the engine was rebuilt following a broken valve spring. Essentially the car would stall when cold unless you kept giving it a little throttle, pretty much as you describe. The garage suggested it would clear itself after a few cycles i.e. Start cold, drive turn off, start cold, drive etc etc. Sure enough after a few days it was fine again.
  3. I tried painting mine but they weren't the same. I ended up replacing them. In the UK the two levers cost £45 each but have made a big difference to the interior.
  4. Mine has the same problem, I understand it is quite a common issue and is caused by a failure of the waterproof membrane in the door. Mine's booked in for a new membrane in a couple of weeks.
  5. Looks fantastic, but....... if you were going to do this now, might it be worth considering updating the look to a 997 with those fantastic single lights - somebody on www.porscheclubgbforum.com is doing his now.
  6. Thanks Viper Where is the front bumper opening - probably being thick here but I can't see anything
  7. Thanks for all the replies. I'll get it checked over. Cheers OG
  8. The Aircon on my MY99 996 doesn't seem to be anywhere near as cold as any other car I've had. It blows well and the climate control seems to work because it does control the level of the blowing automatically. The air coming through the vents is cooler than the outside but it's not ice cold. Is this normal? Thanks
  9. Loren Would you mind sending me the information too please. A very capable friend is going to fit rear park sensors for me and I would like to be sure the bumper is taken off properly so that it will all go back OK. Cheers OG
