  1. One other item might be the spoiler pump itself this can leak and get all over cover and the actuators themselves could be dry - had the pump leak on my 2004 TT Cabriolet
  2. I have had good results with " Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 XL " on my 996TT Good performance, decent wear at a reasonable price from Tire Rack
  3. Hello,I have the same problem, I wasn't aware of the unlock codes for the radio when I changed the battery. 2004 996TTPCM 2.0 Software version 3.0type 6634serial # 45015482
  4. I think those pockets are reliefs for the wheel bolts if you have spacers installed. They allow space for the bolts that hold the wheel spaces on.
  5. I am currently going through this process with my 2004 996TT. The driver side ram was leaking and the spoiler would not go up causing a fault. I am trying the "Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak' to attempt a fix to the leak. Easy choise of $10 bucks versus $495 for ram or $1459 for kit. Also found a good link from UK with direction and picture of process. http://www.911uk.com...pic.php?t=57705 Not successful - the stop leak did not work I purchased used deck lid and swapped the hydraulics - pump and both rams.
  6. I had a set on my 2004-996TT for the summer and got about 10k on the rear tires - inside worn out due to alignment issues, would have lasted much longer. Alignment done and I now have winter Continentals on. Plan to get new rears to go with summer set of Hancooks for this coming summer. I thought they had great traction wet and dry and were not to noisey
