  1. Reason found. The clip which is fixing the small metal boost hose with the turbo housing became loose. Hose wasnt fitted very tight than. Big leak.
  2. Check the wiring. I had several wires with bad and briggle isolation. When it gets very hot the wiring is very soft and maybe they touch each other and problems occure.
  3. Part should be right but its quiet expensive . here they are available for half
  4. the new one is ready to order. 93.000 eur + some additional equipment. Very easy to spend 110.000 But it looks great!!!
  5. its like a very bad joke. Just wrote my message and after drove to grocery shop. Very short part highway. Guess what. Yes. Overboost. This is impossible
  6. after 2500 km to the seaside and back. no overboost codes anymore. the car is shifting in a different way what makes me believe that any kind of leaks are having impact of the shifting process. some small hesitation when i go to WOT. Who knows what this is again. Some performance problems. Really hard to get the fully loaded car crossing the 250 km/h level. And of course lots of oil. Jesus when i drive it hard its using more oil than petrol.
  7. h Hi Mark. Thank you for congrats. Maybe i could do it more quickly if i had more time to work on the car. Yes you are right. Going a little bit more deep inside i found many many weak parts . Some are repaired by the previous owner but in a very unprofessional way. Lesson: never buy a car with italien registration. You dont know for shure if the service books are not cooked in some way. I an using stock air filters. The noise occurs first time when i worked under the car to change some tubes.
  8. I just connected my icarsoft code reader and there is NO OVERBOOST code! So fortunately the repair of both pressure lines must have cleared the boost leak in some way. The whistle sound still there but for now i am almost satisfied.
  9. @lewisweller first time i dont agree with you Lewis. My first Indy did it exactly the same way like you discribed. Topping of is not enough IMO.
  10. 1000 km trip to Mediterranean Sea. No problems except 170 liters of gas and 0.5 liter good oil. I can't push the pedal down like crazy . I am really afraid when i see how fast the boost needle is hitting the scale until the end. Tomorrow I will check codes. Would not be a surprise if ...,
  11. Member @ lewisweller would ask: do you feel any smell of gas when you open the reservoir ? If not ok. If yes, head gasket. You wrote thermostat is new? You installed it? How the coolant was refilled? I bought a special vacuum refill tool because Cayenne V8 engines are well known for air pockets. Not just enough to put water inside until max. Reading. When you sit in your car and watching the temp gauge climbing up, what happens with the temp if you rev the engine a little bit for one minute. Can you see the temp dropping?

  13. Hi. Yes it fixed the issue. Look for bad wiring/ isolation of wiring. I am pretty shure it was my problem. Get in touch with something & fuse blown. New fuse and proper isolation. Didnt come back the code. Good luck
  14. the overboost code didnt come back until now. Maybe i am really lucky with weekend repairs.
  15. @lewisweller could you explain the airflow Lewis? I thought this is some kind of ventilation for the turbo charger. The hot air is running through this pipe up to the oil air seperator right?!
  16. It doesnt fit to this topic but i dont want to open new discussion. i have serious problems with my sway bar bushings. They are making noises like crazy. Feel even shy to drive. Squeaking like crazy. I treat some with a wrong spray and since than they are noisy. I have new bushings. Just wondering if i can change them without removing all the sway bar.   17. I am glad to fix all this broken / weak points. But in the end, the whistle noise still there.
  18. Changed the pressure hose to the wastegate. New blue silicon line. Changed the tube which is going away from the turbo housing in direction to the belt. No. 15 on the diagram there was already a damage and previous owner fixed it in a very special way
  19. Major work on the drivers side Turbo. I can see that there was already some "specialist" working here. Take away air filter housing to get access. Take away tube with the MAF. Changed the o ring between the metal hose and the charger
  20. @lewis @mark... depends on the reading of the diagram. the RED tubes are going from the Driver side Turbo up . There is no T but there are 2 lines going in different directions. One is ending on the Top of n75 valve. Dont know if there is a reading too.
  21. Thank you for this info. Hope not to difficult to take out the filter housing. After you go through wheel housing? tomorrow if there is time will check the driver side down at the wastegate.
  22. To get access to the small pressure tube i disconnected all this stuff around. Airbox. Tube with the MAF. Tubes which are going to turbo charger cold side outlet. But, this small tube is hidden and i can hardly get my hands to the end where its connected to the Charger housing. No way to change this. Try from up and down and from wheel well. Nothing.

  24. Very good picture. Thank you. I see you take away the connection piece - part no. 3 - which has a gasket. I don't have this gasket and can't get it until tomorrow. I will see if I can manage to change the pipe without removing the plastic part no. 3
  25. @ Lewis . Thank you for taking care. Yes I remember the hose is a little bit hidden and difficult to get to. I will inspect and try from up or underneath. I will take pictures. Boost pressure reference hose ! Thankx for technical lesson.
