  1. @bigbuzuki thank you for your note. Why I believe it could be underfilled? The shifting is a little bit strange when hard cornering. Makes me believe that oil swaps to one side and just not enough in to proceed proper shifting. Maybe a stupid idea but I would like to check it
  2. In addition i can tell you. On my very first cayenne i have it. Still until now. The porsche shop changed almost everything. Throttle body. MAF, a lot of sensors. Guess what, nothing solved the problem
  3. Good Morning. PSM failures are very strange and most of the time in some way electric issues. First check voltage of your battery please
  4. @Zakowsky Mike thank you very much for your detailed post. Actually the car had a trans oil flush some years ago. So i would say the oil is in there now for 30k km. What you describe sounds pretty easy. I will try it. Just have to find the right equipment. The filling has do be done whilst the engine is running?
  5. @Lewis yes this i opend and found this 3 strings which are taped at the end.
  6. @ferraristyle thank you very much. I was thinking about this. Member Touareg pointet to the same direction. what you mean with "plastic trim" ?
  7. I could open the box. Its a RF device. For what it could be? http://www.fatelettronica.it/images/stories/Datasheet/rx4m50rr30sf.pdf
  8. Its now about my old Cayenne S which is only in use sometimes. Already some years the car has frequent PSM failures. The shop replaced parts for thousands of EUR but the fault always came back. I still believe this is a electric problem. I opend the carpet today and replaced some wires which looked strange. Next i checked some wires which in the past was connected with a switch (the use of this switch i dont now) installed in the steering wheel column cover. The switch was disconnected by the shop years ago. I cant find out where this wiring is going to. I take away the cover which is under the dash to check the are. Lots of wiring of course. Cant find which one is going up to the steering column. while there i found a box. One side with a connection to many cables, other side just one black wire which is going to nowhere. can somebody please advise if this is original or somebody messed up.
  9. I got the feeling that there is maybe a little bit of oil missing in my transmission. could i check it by myself? adding oil until its puring out from the fill plug ? as i remember the car has to run during the filling process? isnt this ending up in a mess because the oil is fluctuating in the oil pan? thank you for your input.
  10. Back to the original poster. Congrats to you for your Porsche. Your car has actually quite few miles on the display for a 2008 model. Shure thats the right the right mileage? i know how fast somebody can get exited by a porsche. But the time of ownership can be sometimes really painfull. Dont want to spoil your mood, dont get me wrong please. the warranty you have isnt that long . The problems you describe are already some thousand to fix. In your case the dealer will pay. Thanks god! but strange noises from the engine can end in disaster bills. Be careful. The battery issue which you describe could be a alternator problem. Get it checked. But here are a lot of smart people who have more to say about your beast. Good luck
  11. Onother Project starting soon. 2 new fuel pumps. Got it for a really very good price. I dont know yet if am brave enough to do it by myself.
  12. Solved for now. i put my head into the engine room this evening. checked the fuse box in the engine compartment and voila the fuse was blown. Changed it and everything fine. Question remains why the fuse is blown. i open the box with all the Relais inside and found one wire which didnt have a proper isolation. Dont know if this had some impact. Thanks for everybody supporting me to find the problem
  13. @ Lewis The graphite oil sitting overnight and the noise is gone. Try it
  14. The electricel circulation water pump is running all the time?! This could be my problem too. Somebody know where this part is sitting? On the diagram cant see well. I read somewhere behind the weel housing?!
  15. @GSpence2 thank you very much , great advice. Will check all cables arround. Thank you
  16. What makes me wondering, all this codes are in some way related to fuses from the fuse box in the engine compartment
