  1. Have you looked under the car to verify that the shifter cable has not unsnapped from its post? I've had this happen a couple of times.
  2. The whole oil pump? I changed the cover, but not the gears. I had some scoring on the cover.
  3. I have had the K&N for about 6 years now. I put on about 30K miles on it before turning it into a track car, and no MAF issues execpt for a problem due to an engine blowout at a track. :huh: That being said, I personally don't think there's any real HP gains on the K&N, but I do love the engine sound with it, so it's worth the expense just for that. Make sure there's barely any oil on it, it should be a very fine mist covering it when you clean it, as the oil will ruin the MAF.
  4. You might have to make sure the IMS shaft mates to the crankshaft. I would contact Charles at LN Engineering to make sure. I repaired my case halves with him. (He might be able to get that sleeve fixed)
  5. My first Range Rover was the Sport in '08, and I'm now a year into the full size. Since I've owned them, the only time I had either of them in the shop was for my full size BCM replacement. They've definitely been WAY more reliable than my track oriented 996. :huh:
  6. I went the LN route for my track car due to throwing a rod. After 6 months, I threw another rod due to oil starvation issues. Mind you, this had nothing to do with LN's machining, but rather my suspension setup which pulled too much G's in the corners for the stock engine oiling. I would like to point out that the LN sleeves held up like champs, and I only had to replace the broken rod. (When I had done the original LN job, I had put a rod through the original sleeves and case, so had to source a new case) All that to say, I couldn't be happier with the LN job, Charles is very easy to work

  8. I just bought mine with 55K miles, & had to replace the clutch at 56K! :( After some smooth driving as well! Darn it! Merry Christmas to me.
