  1. There is a DIY here and a good one on pelican. Here is a good one for a Touareg. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Fixing+Touareg+Gas+Leak/11326
  2. I would say you have plastic. The visible plastic pipes are individual and the aluminum are 3 pipes in one piece.
  3. Thanks for the write up. I put in a revmax valve body and now every shift is smooth and perfect. Pretty easy DIY. Best tip is when removing the valve body remove all the bolts but one on the front and one on the back. Then loosen each with the one toward the front a little looser. The tilt will allow most of the fluid to drain into the catch tray that you put under it. Leave for about 1/2 hour. Greatly reduces the mess.
  4. EleCTriCT. You are the man! I has fuse 40 in where it came out of 39 or something like that. I had just put the fuse back in one over from where I took it out. Next time I will pay more attention and take PICTURES. The simple is usually the answer.
  5. Thanks. A little more info. I tells me to press the brake pedal and the red brake light in the speedometer is flashing. It has been suggested that the brake pedal position sensor may have failed? I am pressing the brake pedal and the ground is properly attached. I will double check the fuses. One good thing is that it is at home. The bad is that the nearest Porsche shop is 180 miles away.
  6. Sorry. 2005 Cayenne Turbo. I am not exactly sure which fuse I pulled, but it was a 5 amp and could have been: # 40 - instrument panel # 53 - Heated rear window control etc # 51 - Diagnosis, parking brake switch # 49 - Servotronic, disengageable anti-roll bars #48 - Auxiliary heater clock. I did hook up the V1 to # 1 which is a 20 amp to the sockets. Now not hooked up I do not know what possessed me to randomly pull a fuse. I am not really used to such a finicky system. I undid the neg terminal by the drivers seat and checked every fuse. All are good.
  7. I was wiring in my V1 and pulled a fuse when the car was running & put it back in. It was a 5 amp fuse in the drivers side fuse panel. No problem. Turn the car off and now it will not turn over. Gives "brake proportion warning" and "air suspension warning". Fuses are not blown??? Can anyone help. I did undo the negative terminal by the drivers passenger seat for 2 min. The warnings have disappeared, but it will still not start.
