  1. I noticed when I get on it sometimes it surges like not enough fuel. I know it's not coilpack or plugs cause I just changed them. I also notice when I come to a complete stop the RPM drops like the car is going to die. Someone told me possible fuel pump as well. So today I started the car and pulled the 13 fuse and car idle just fine. Then I inserted 13 fuse in and pulled the 14 fuse and the car wanted to die and struggled to stay on after a few seconds. What does this tell me?
  2. To find out if its bad or if its going bad? to find out if its bad.. sorry

  4. can someone please verify if a new TCM is required when changing the valve body?
  5. LOL yeah I never realized the steering wheels Tiptronic button works even when the car isnt in Manual mode. I must be accidentally tapping it and not realizing it since I usually hold the steering wheel with my left hand at the 10 oclock position.
  6. Well my 05 CTT has been having this very random problem once in awhile. Sometimes when I come to a slow down or complete stop and start going again I notice the car is in Manual mode even though its still in the D position. I have to slap the stick over to Manual then back to Drive. What gives?
  7. i just replaced my battery. mine was taking a crap and causing a faulty 4 wheel drive system error.
  8. Cayenne Battery Replacement with Pictures This was done on my 2005 Cayenne Turbo. I only have a battery under my drivers seat. I think some might of came equipped with a battery in the trunk. I did't want to pay the dealer for a OE battery and labor. I was able to get mine from Advance Auto Parts for about $130 after coupon code.. http://shop.advancea...8agm&showTitle= NOW PUT IN THE NEW BATTERY AND DO EVERTYHING IN REVERSE ORDER!! VOILA! P.S. Dont forget to put blue loctite on the seat rail bolts. Also manual calls Author VIPNiSS Category Cayenne (9PA, 9PA1) - Maintenance Submitted 11/29/2012 11:02 AM Updated 11/29/2012 08:44 PM

  10. i apologize. i didnt mean to go MIA.. I went ahead and just changed out the water pump and gasket. I examined the old pump and it looked like a possibility of a leak, wasnt sure 100%. I also went ahead and changed the (2) coolant T's/water hose on the back of the engine/firewall(2005 turbo with 65k miles). There was a hairline crack and I could also see coolant VERY slowly seeping away. Knock on wood everthing seems to be okay now.
  11. Has anyone does this? I saw my coolant pipes were updated to metal ones last year but dont see the T's behind the engine being done. I have my intake manifold off now and was wondering if there is a DIY guide.. i know everyone said it was a B***H
  12. I sort of have but not entirely. I went ahead and ordered a new water pump and gasket to install anyways as preventive maint just in case that is the root cause. I pressurized the system to about 15psi but didnt see it drop. Does it only leak from water pump when running maybe?
  13. Does anyone have a diagram to show me what hoses/fittings are on the passenger side of the vehicle to look for? I dont think its a radiator because its on the fan shroud and i dont think the cayenne has known issues with that.. mine is a 2005 with only 64k miles... common sense is telling me a cracked hose/fitting someone on that side. I only see the residue starting half way down the fan shroud..
  14. I have a slow leak of coolant some where and it has been driving me ABSOLUTELY nuts. I have a 2005 and it has the updated Aluminum pipes done last year. I took off the intake manifold already and dont see any signs of leaks from up top around the intake manifold area.. Oil is good and not milky. Think I found where it's landing but don't know where it's coming from. This shot is from underneath the car looking straight up from the passenger side. . I see the white residue starting halfway on the fan shroud.
