    I have been battling with the car throwing an 1123 error for at least a year. The car started last summer and I cleaned the MAS with electrical contact cleaner. That worked for a bit but it came back. Then I replaced MAS sensor and the car was fine for about 10 months and at least 2k miles. I started to use the AC and the 1123 returns. It seems to happen when the car is sitting in traffic. This is the only code the car is showing. I am using the Durametric software on one of my laptops. My car is a 99, 6 speed manual with just under 25k on it. The oil changes and air filter have been done but I have had no other engine service. I did some searching on the form and it seems like others have had issues but usually had other problems or codes as well. Before I just start replacing parts I thought I would drop a post to get everyone’s input. Thanks

    My went on about a month ago. A friend was trying to get porsche to do a good will. no luck!! Ok the car is old but what does age have to do with rewiring an electical safety device.. The honest dealer wanted 9 hours labor and about 350 in parts. So for that price I am looking for a used set of sport seats that still have the buckles..

    I just did the porsche SSK. The job was real easy and the directions were great! As others have indicated it was about a hour. Now the car shifts great! thanks for all the input!

    I had that happen as well but only once.. What causes this??

    I went from a c4 to a c2 and I would prefer a c4.. My c4 felt more attached to the ground. But my c4 was a 94 widebody and my c2 is a 996 narrow body. Would I pay a big difference no but this is not my daily driver. I do not drive it in the snow. If this was my daily driver I would get the c4. I do not track my car and if you want to do that you may want to get feedback from someone that does that. I think the c2 is prefered on the track.

    how do you pull the center section of the seat out? I need to look at the passenger bladder. I do not think it is working correctly..

    Not that I am a expert but on my car it usally comes on after I start up for a short run. It also come on when the car is sitting still. I do not see how this fan will reduce water temp. I think it pushes air in the enging comparment. The old 911 air cools would stay cool under the hood due to the engine fan. It may also come on more due to the areo wing. Does not seem to have too big of a grill. My car is a 99 c2 with aero pkg
